Bone brothCollagen peptides
Glycine, proline and hydroxyproline, the raw materials for connective tissue and the gut lining. No IBD trials; it's here as a well-tolerated protein source that dissolves in anything and gives the barrier what it's built from.
Andrew's notes
Collagen is a super protein source for people with IBD, very nutrient-dense and easy to tolerate, and it dissolves in a smoothie or a broth without changing the taste. It will not reduce inflammation much, and it is not a treatment for IBD; it is raw material for the connective tissue and the lining. I find it especially useful for people with Crohn's who have joint issues.
